Germany head coach Joachim Low has confirmed his final 23-man squad for Euro 2016 but there is no place for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus.
Reus, who has been struggling with a groin problem, was not included in the World Cup winners’ team to play this summer’s European Championship after the Germany boss took advice from his medical staff. “It has been a bitter decision for us and for him [Reus], and a disappointment for us all.’’ Low
said.
“Marco Reus in a good shape and healthy and fit -that would have been a tremendous asset to our team.
